Crypto Sapiens inspires people to grow from crypto curious to crypto native. That is the essence of our mission. We are committed to fostering education and growth in the crypto space. We are emboldened by pioneering projects that came before us—entities that not only advocated for community-empowerment, decentralization, and collaboration, but seamlessly integrated these principles into the fabric of their organizations.
The synchronicity between Crypto Sapiens and the DAO movement is no coincidence. While our inaugural podcast surfaced in September 2021, our commitment to media and education predates this milestone. Officially introduced as a weekly community series within the Bankless DAO Discord in early 2021, the roots of our impact reach back to 2016 where Crypto Sapiens creator, Humpty Calderon, was hosting insightful AMA sessions with community-driven crypto projects on YouTube and other media channels. This commitment continued through 2020 on Clubhouse, where he regularly facilitated conversations with pioneers in decentralized finance, decentralized identity, and DAOs. The genesis of Crypto Sapiens coincided with the launch of Bankless DAO, a testament to our shared commitment to their original mission of decentralizing media. This mission continues to infuse every aspect of our endeavors, defining the very essence of our existence.
Our unwavering confidence lies in the belief that the future of crypto media will not be dictated by a centralized entity; rather, it will be collectively built by the community for the community.
To realize this vision, Crypto Sapiens has conducted a series of decentralized media experiments for over a year, inviting passionate individuals from our community to host their own podcasts on our platform. We successfully produced seven podcasts with eight hosts garnering tens of thousands of listeners, validating the viability and impact of our approach.
This, we firmly believe, is the path to fortify crypto media, rendering it both resilient and significant.
Our commitment intensifies in 2024 as we accelerate these experiments and broaden our mission to amplify the voices of thoughtful, diverse individuals through a platform that augments their expertise in content creation and community leadership and enhances their standing as thought leaders. Our vision is to establish crypto media as a community-driven force, championing diverse perspectives over centralized opinions. We firmly believe that this initiative will establish the groundwork for a groundbreaking crypto media model.
