We use those channels:
- Public company channel: https://www.youtube.com/@MUI_hq. Most videos are public.
Ideal use case: Content meant for customers.
- Internal company channel: https://www.youtube.com/@MUI_ers. Almost all videos should be private.
Ideal use case: ****Content shared company-wide for employees. Double-check that the content is not shared publicly.
Normally, you can access most recordings logged in to YouTube with your @mui.com account. For higher access permissions, see: YouTube.
How to publish on YouTube?
You can either:

When streaming or uploading, make sure the video is set to “Private”.

In most cases, you will want to share the video with everyone at MUI, so use the @mui.com setting:


Cons
- Recoding & publishing quick videos is a bit more time consuming than on Loom (especially for your first video, after it's almost the same).
- There are no options to leave reactions at specific time frames, like with Loom.
