Overview

Mana Crystals are a fully on-chain Game (inspired by tabletop resource management games) and the first Rift Objects. They’re the first Loot derivative to fully integrate with the Rift. This means that higher level bags produce more powerful Mana Crystals. It also means interacting with Crystals will grant your bag XP, levels, and Rift Charges.

The Game is a Quest to generate the most Mana. To accomplish this you’ll have to decide between: claiming mana, leveling up your Crystal, or destroying it for Mana & XP. As your Loot bag levels up, you’ll be able to redeem charges for more powerful Crystals.

Think of each Mana Crystal as a Mana Factory, and your goal is to efficiently operate that factory and eventually decommission it to create more powerful factories.

Mana is used to create more Crystals, purchase Rift Charges, and Questing.

Attributes

<aside> 💡 Crystals have Mana Generating attributes that are derived from the level of the Bag that minted them, and Aesthetic attributes that are randomized.

Mana Generating

These attributes are consistent for every Crystal and are used to determine how much Mana is generated.

Attunement

The level of the Bag that created the Crystal. Each attunement level increases Resonance and Spin by 10% over the previous level.
