We know you’ve got a recipe to share! Here’s how you do it.

  1. Click “I want to make a recipe” on the home screen.

  1. When you’re ready, record your recipe’s Introduction. Share what’s in store and why you chose this recipe!

  2. You’ll then be brought to your recipe dashboard, where you can see your recipe as you construct it. You can add new steps from this page as well as edit existing ones.

Access the editing interface from the writer’s dashboard to Trim, Delete, Record clips — and more!

  1. You can add Ingredient Events from the editing screen. Simply scrub to where in the video you introduce/add the ingredient, then press the “+” button. Nombox automatically compiles all the ingredients in your recipe.

<aside> 💡 Tip: feel free to wait to edit your steps until you’ve recorded the Finale — and once you’ve washed your hands!

On the left, the interface for trimming allows you to reset the trim with the leftmost button. On the right, the modal for adding an ingredient allows you to switch between including a unit (”One cup of flour”) and not (”Two carrots”).

  1. After you’ve put finished recording your steps, you can record the recipe’s Finale. This is meant to be a fun last clip where you show off what you’ve made — feel free to take a bite of your final dish! After recording, you’ll be prompted to choose a cover photo for your recipe.
