MakeYou AI (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a personal beauty and makeup assistant app that helps you try on AI-powered looks, rate your makeup, and save your favourite looks and routines.

1. Who we are

MakeYou AI is a mobile application that uses anonymous accounts and cloud services (such as Firebase and OpenAI) to provide makeup analysis, AI try-on looks, and personalised beauty routines.

We do not require you to create a named account or provide your email, phone number, or social logins. We use an anonymous ID to store your data.

2. Information we collect

We only collect data needed to make the app work.

2.1. Images you upload

• Selfies or photos you capture with the camera or select from your gallery.
• AI-generated “try-on” results (before/after looks).
• These are stored in cloud storage (e.g., Firebase Storage) and linked to your anonymous user ID.

2.1.1. Face Data & Camera Usage

We clarify that:

• We do not collect, analyze, derive, or store biometric face data.
• We do not perform facial recognition, face mapping, identity detection, or extract facial landmarks.
• Camera input is processed locally on your device only to overlay virtual makeup effects.
• If you choose to save a photo, the entire image is stored as normal user content — not as biometric data.
