I think the main purpose of this book is to alert the reader to the fact that they may be living life according to set default that they didn’t have any part in choosing. It challenges the reader to identify these defaults and to set a new defaults for them self
I have deleted all social media apps from my phone and it truly is remarkable how much extra time I have. It's also surprising how much I don't miss it. These apps are always avilable to me if I truly need to use them. the app store icon is right there! I can download the apps, sign back in, and reengage with the scrollable world if I need to. It's just that, with the exception of my Musical Theatre book club, I don't find that I need to.
