I'm getting a "app is damaged message when trying to open"

This is due to OSX not allowing apps outside of its own store by default. Open up terminal, type xattr -cr , press space and then drag the BSQuestDowngrader.app from your desktop onto the terminal window.

You should be able to run it now. You might need to right click (or CTRL + Click) on it and click "Open".

You may also see it in your Mac settings as blocked here and can choose "allow" if you're still having issues
