To give fundraising organisations an overview of the current landscape of charity evaluation, the GWWC research team created the following minimum viable product database. It provides high-level information about existing evaluators and grantmaking organisations with shareable recommendations.
The entries in the first column contain a list of relevant resources and a short description of each of the evaluators’ approaches. We provide links to the organisations’ own resources for more information where possible.
Please note that the information in this database is generally based on (our reading of) public information on the organisations’ website and hasn’t been separately reviewed and verified by them, so any mistakes or misinterpretations are our own.
This MVP database was created and last updated in April 2023. Please let us know if you identify any errors or out-of-date claims that you think are worth correcting.
