- Disparities in income can worsen the impacts of earthquakes. countries and people who can afford to invest in earthquake resistant buildings, prewarnings and have the capability to evacuate will face less impacts compared people with low income. people with low income do not have the capability to evacuate their homes, strengthen them and access warnings from the government as easily as others. they also may not be able to afford insurance and if their house collapsed, they would be more vulnerable.

- My RQ investigates how evacuation strategies reduced the primary impacts of the Sakurajima eruption in 1914. the volcano eruption was the most powerful volcanic eruption in Japan during the 20th century. volcanic eruptions can destroy housing an infrastructure and cause fatal accidents. prewarnings and evacuations mean that the citizens can protect themselves and their houses. In relation to the soi, the rq examines how successful their strategies were in reducing the impact of the 1914 volcanic eruption.

- if we take interviews of citizens who had to evacuate, we can get a better understanding of the direct impacts on the population of the eruption as well as how the government action helped them in protecting themselves. this would help me evaluate the impact of the strategies on the community.

Water is essential for the health and wellbeing of the poeple and the industry of jordan. the residents can no longer rely on groundwater due to contamination so the cost of desalination plants is better than having no water.
