1. Deforestation has led to land degradation. when large areas of land is cleared, it leaves the top soil vulnerable to weather. the soil gets eroded faster and the soil loses its nutrients quicker than the plants can absorb it. this leads to land degradation as the fertility of the soil and structure is weakened.

2. My RQ investigates how nature tourism in Maya beach, Thailand impacted the health of the coral reefs. Thailand is a popular tourist destination and many people visit maya beach. this overcrowding can impact the marine biome and impact the coral reefs. The rq examines how human activities like tourism can impact the natural environment.
3. lack of reliable data on the coral reef health as it has been restricted to allow reef recover
4. survey to collect information from a large number of tourists visitng maya bay. this provides a wider range of perspectives on tourist behaviour, making the data more reliable.
