Synopsis:
Matteo's best friend Julia has mysteriously disappeared, and somehow that's only the most urgent in a growing list of problems.
While digging for information (and sticking his nose where it shouldn't be), he's uncovered something he’s really known all along: Monsters, Cryptids, and Magic are all very real - and he’s one of them.
To add an even more complex layer, it looks like he's not the only one trying to find Julia. There's an entire squad of so-called “agents” working for a shady corporation known only as 'Holwell', tasked with solving not just Julia's disappearance, but a slew of other strange and often dangerous supernatural crimes.
Through odd twists of serendipitous fate, he's landed himself exactly where he needs to be, talking to exactly who can help. But is this really enough to find Julia? And will he be able to tolerate the insufferably standoffish and stupidly handsome detective he needs to befriend long enough to help him find her?
