We have the following channels through which we can collect donations without personally engaging with the donor.

All accounts below can be accessed through Accounts and are connected to our bank (‣).

Donorbox (primary method)

Our Donorbox campaign is at https://donorbox.org/work-on-climate.

You can administer it in the Donorbox account. It has a bunch of embeddable forms and buttons, you can find the code here after logging in.

It is fully set up to receive tax-deductible donations, allows both one-time and recurring donations, issues tax receipts to donors (one-off and year-end), and encourages company matching.

YourCause (corporate donation matching)

We are set up with YourCause and are able to receive corporate gift matches from companies that use YourCause for gift matching (e.g. Autodesk).

YourCause automatically provides tax-deductible donation receipts to donors.

Benevity (corporate donation matching)

We are set up with Benevity and are able to receive corporate gift matches from companies that use Benevity for gift matching (e.g. Google, Microsoft).

Benevity automatically provides tax-deductible donation receipts to donors.

Capital Group Associate Matching Gift Program (corporate donation matching)

We are set up with the Capital Group Associate Matching Gift Program. It seems that it requires manually confirming gift matches - gift emails go to [email protected].

Fidelity

We have been set up for EFT (electronic funds transfer) with Fidelity for Nonprofits. There doesn’t seem to be an account associated with it - but it means that, when someone donates through Fidelity, we will get money in our bank. They will get a tax-deductible donation receipt. We can get a report on the grants made this way through instructions in the files below.
