1 Start thumbs up and flag flat at your belly button, lunge with your right foot stepping out and your flag coming up above your head flat.
2 Fully into the lunge (do not fake the lunge, your knees should be very close to the floor), flag comes down flat behind your back
3-4 Turn left (in the lunge, don’t come out of it) and turn 180 degrees, so that you are facing opposite to where you started this move, flag swinging around with you so that it ends with your arms crossed over it and your silk out to your left. The way to keep your lunge throughout this turn is to start with right leg out in lunge in the beginning, then as you’re turning your knees will be off the ground but you will be crouching until you reach 180. That’s when you will go back into the lunge, but instead your left leg will be up in front of you.
5 Stand up and unwind flag so that your arms are no longer crossed.
6 Flag is pointing up and left hand slides up the flag so that your flag will go behind your head.
7 Flag goes behind your head, silk down, from left to right.
8 Flag back in ready position.
