Welcome to Loom. We believe in transparency, especially when it comes to your digital wardrobe and personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why we need it, and how we keep it safe.

1. The Data We Collect To provide you with a seamless styling experience, Loom collects the following information:

• Account Information: Your email address, name, and authentication data (via Apple or Google login) to secure your account.
• Physical Measurements: Basic physical attributes (like height and weight) that you provide during onboarding to help tailor outfit proportions.
• Wardrobe Images: The photos you upload of your clothing.
• Location Data: We request location access solely to check the local weather forecast so our stylist can recommend weather-appropriate outfits. We do not track your continuous movement.

2. How We Use Your Data We use your data strictly to make the app work for you:

• To digitize your clothes by removing image backgrounds.
• To generate your "Daily Deck" and ad-hoc outfit recommendations.
• To remember your style preferences, what is currently in your laundry, and outfits you have saved or disliked.

3. Third-Party Services We Trust We don't sell your data to advertisers. We only share data with the secure, industry-standard cloud infrastructure required to run the app:

• Storage & Database: We use Supabase to securely store your user profile and the high-resolution images of your wardrobe.
• AI Processing: We utilize Google's Gemini models to analyze the photos you upload (to categorize items like "Tops" or "Footwear" and extract color/style data) and to generate outfit combinations.
• Search Infrastructure: We use Pinecone (a vector database) to efficiently search through your digital wardrobe to build outfits.

4. Data Retention and Deletion You own your data. If you decide to leave Loom, you can permanently delete your account directly inside the app by navigating to Profile > Delete Account. Initiating this process instantly deletes your user record and triggers a secure background process that scrubs all your uploaded images, outfits, and AI metadata from our databases and third-party storage providers.

6. Request Account Deletion (Web) If you no longer have the Loom app installed and would like to request that we delete your account and all associated data, please fill out our [Data Deletion Request Form]. We will process your request and securely scrub your data within 7 days.
