In class when we where talking about good UX one of the examples was the online bank Monzo which I use myself so I though it would be a good app to look at to see how well they do UX.
Monzo is completely online and they have no physical bank branches that you can go and visit. Instead as a Monzo user you are are able to control all of your finances from the app on the phone, you can deposit and move money, freeze your card if its lost, check your monthly spending. Monzo is not only a good bank but the app is very sleek and easy to use. It makes banking easier, faster and easier to understand.
I went through my Monzo app and found different parts of it that I think work very well cause of the UI.
Overall I really like the user experience of Monzo as it is easy to use and the colours make it vibrant and friendly. The icons are very well made and you know what the all mean and do and cause all the nav buttons are the same colour you know that they are nav buttons. The app contains a lot of different features that traditional banks would not offer as you can freeze your card through the app with one easy tap and then unfreeze it when you find it and you have soo much control over different things like spending and saving.
