How to use Ledger Nano with the Starname Manager

A Ledger Nano S is a hardware wallet. Hardware wallets are considered very secure for the storage of a user’s private keys in the blockchain world. Your digital assets are safe even when using an infected (or untrusted) computer.

Before you begin

Install the IOV app on Ledger Nano S or Nano X

  1. Open the Manager in Ledger Live on your computer.

  2. Connect and unlock your Ledger Nano S.

  3. If asked, allow the manager on your device by pressing the right button on your Ledger Nano S.

  4. Find IOV in the Ledger Live app catalog.

  5. Click the Install button of the app in Ledger Live.

  6. An installation window appears on your computer.

  7. Your Ledger Nano S will display Processing…

  8. The app installation is confirmed.

Use Ledger device with Starname Manager

You can use the Starname Manager with your Ledger Nano S device.

  1. Simply connect your Ledger Nano S device to your computer and unlock your Ledger Nano S;

  2. open the IOV app on your Ledger Nano S
