About

I am Liz McCarthy and have been the Operations Manager of Paint Pots Preschool & Nursery since February 2022.

I have worked in the Early Years sector since 2008 after completing a 22-year career in Her Majesty's Royal Navy. Following a career change, I joined a Hampshire nursery group where I gained my childcare qualifications and progressed into senior leadership roles.

In 2020 I joined Launchpad Social Enterprise as Operations Manager, supporting nursery leaders, driving operational performance and contributing to the growth and development of the organisation. Following Launchpad's acquisition of Paint Pots, I became part of the leadership team responsible for supporting our settings, staff and families across the group.

I am passionate about developing nursery leaders, maintaining high standards of care and education, and ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
