Session Objective

Produce a live-validated list of open Litify cases that are not in Resolution and were referred by other lawyers or law firms, including handling team, date of accident, date of referral, client name, age/stage, case summary, strengths, and opportunities.

What Was Accomplished

• Confirmed LITIFY_ORG was connected as sam@kylawoffice.com.
• Described live Matter, Referral Transaction, Referral, and Intake schemas to identify the correct fields.
• Found 117 open non-Resolution Matters in the broader Source Type = Attorney Referral bucket.
• Excluded 93 internal employee, owner, non-attorney, and provider referral rows that did not match Sam's request for other lawyers/law firms.
• Final external lawyer/law-firm cohort: 24 live open non-Resolution Matters.
• Generated a Markdown report and CSV under admin/scratch/litify-attorney-referral-open-cases-2026-06-06/.
• Updated the Litify environment diary with the live schema/filter and date-handling findings.

• Rating mix: A+ 10, A 9, B 3, B+ 2.

Decisions Made

• Treated Source_Name__c = 'Attorney Referral' as the external attorney/law-firm inclusion rule because the live Source Type = Attorney Referral bucket also contains internal employee/owner rows.
• Used Referral/LRN date when present; otherwise Primary Intake Created/Open date; otherwise Matter Created/Open date as fallback because most dedicated Matter Referral dates were blank.
