Session Objective

Enable direct texting from the Litify RingCentral panel while preserving the safety gate that prevents accidental client SMS sends.

What Shipped

• Kept the earlier B fix live: the panel button label now says Open in RingCentral instead of implying the old button could send directly.
• Built and deployed a secure RingCentral SMS broker on Render: sail-ringcentral-sms-broker.
• Render broker URL: https://sail-ringcentral-sms-broker.onrender.com.
• Created Salesforce Named Credential RingCentral_SMS pointing to the broker.
• Deployed LitifyRingCentralSmsSender, LitifyRingCentralSmsSenderTest, updated litifyRingCentralPanelV2, and updated RingCentral_Panel_User permission set.
• Broker credentials were saved in the local vault under RINGCENTRAL_SMS_BROKER_USERNAME, RINGCENTRAL_SMS_BROKER_PASSWORD, RINGCENTRAL_SMS_BROKER_SERVICE_ID, and RINGCENTRAL_SMS_BROKER_URL.
• The Notion credential inventory page API Keys & App Secrets was updated with the broker inventory and rotation note. The generated password was not printed in transcript text.

Verification

• Broker unit tests passed: 3/3.
• Local broker smoke passed: /health returned OK, unauthenticated /sms returned 401, authenticated invalid payload returned 400 before any RingCentral call.
• Render deploy went live: deploy dep-d8g63m3bc2fs73caqcng.
• Public broker smoke passed: /health returned OK, unauthenticated /sms returned 401, authenticated invalid payload returned recipient_and_message_required with 400.
• Salesforce Named Credential check-only deploy succeeded: 0AfUV000001YJkP0AW.
• Salesforce Named Credential live deploy succeeded: 0AfUV000001YJm10AG.
• Salesforce direct-send check-only deploy succeeded: 0AfUV000001YJnd0AG, 5/5 tests passed.
• Salesforce direct-send live deploy succeeded: 0AfUV000001YJpF0AW, 5/5 tests passed.
• Live query confirmed LitifyRingCentralSmsSender and LitifyRingCentralSmsSenderTest are active.
