Reviewed the live Salesforce Time_Off_Request__c configuration for how to enter time away for work comp treatment without counting it as PTO. Confirmed LITIFY_ORG is connected and queried live object fields, active validation rules, active flow versions, current 2026 records, rollup metadata, and the active New_Time_Off_Request flow.
Key live findings:
Immediate operational path: use the existing New Time Off Request flow, select Leave Type = Other, enter Other Leave Details = Work comp treatment, and enter the actual date/time away for treatment. The live flow should store Required_PTO__c = 0 for that record, so it will not consume PTO, while the dates/times remain visible for tracking.
Durable Salesforce improvement: add a distinct Leave_Type__c value named Workers' Compensation Treatment, update the New_Time_Off_Request flow choice list and summary display to show it, add a work-comp treatment report or dashboard view, and harden PTO rollups/formulas so only Leave Type = PTO contributes to PTO usage even if records are created outside the flow. This keeps work comp treatment visible, reportable, and separate from PTO and generic Other leave.
