Session overview

Sam was redesigning the Litify Matter page so staff can work from the Matter record: communications on the right, Case Status and RingCentral available in context, less clutter in sidebar and utility bars, and Matter actions moved lower on the page.

What was completed

• Built and deployed the native Case Status Matter panel path for the test Matter a0LUV00000H4LP32AN / MAT-26052767862.
• Moved the right sidebar toward communications only: Activity, Case Status, and RingCentral.
• Moved Quick Links standalone in the main panel.
• Removed SMS Drips tab from the Matter page while leaving SMS Messages intact.
• Moved Roundtable below Negotiations in the main More menu.
• Made Rating Last Updated and Gameplan Completed read-only on the Matter layout.
• Moved Close Matter and Refer Out to the bottom of the main Matter panel, below the main tabs.
• Removed DICE and Date Calculator from multiple Matter utility bars.
• Final live root cause found: the visible app in Sam's screenshot is CustomApplication:Litify, which uses FlexiPage:Litify_UtilityBar. That file was not in the repo until retrieved in this session. It exactly matched the screenshot with RingCentral, Time Off Request, Date Calculator, Chatter, DICE, and Recent Items.
• Patched and deployed Litify_UtilityBar to remove Date Calculator, Chatter, and DICE, leaving RingCentral, Time Off Request, and Recent Items.

What was tried and did not work

• Earlier deploys cleaned Litify_Complete_UtilityBar, Litify_Matters_UtilityBar1, and Litify_Matter_Console_UtilityBar. Those changes succeeded, but Sam still saw the old items because the active app was the separate Litify app backed by Litify_UtilityBar.
• This was not a Salesforce cache-only issue. The live screenshot showed the exact components in the un-retrieved Litify_UtilityBar metadata.
