Diagnose the current Matter edit screenshot where MRI Status was set to Completed with MRI Body Area and MRI Result filled, but the save still failed with the completed-MRI validation message.

What was verified

• Connected to live LITIFY_ORG as sam@kylawoffice.com.
• Live validation rule MRI_Completed_Details_Required is active and displays on MRI Request.
• Live layout litify_pm__Matter__c-Take Action Release Layout has editable MRI_Request__c immediately after MRI_Result__c in the Treatment section.
• Rollbacked Apex confirmed expected behavior: Completed without MRI_Request__c fails on MRI_Request__c; the same update with a linked Request succeeds; transaction rolled back.
• Christine Tingle is active on Litify Paralegal/Case Manager.

Repair applied

Added FieldPermissions 01kUV00000EPzoEYAT for litify_pm__Matter__c.MRI_Request__c with read/edit access on the Litify Paralegal/Case Manager profile-owned permission set 0PS5e000005pj9MGAQ.

Readback confirmed that profile-owned permission set now has read/edit for:

• MRI_Status__c
• MRI_Location__c
• MRI_Result__c
• MRI_Request__c

Boundary

No Matter records were changed. The validation rule was not relaxed. Users still need to link the relevant Request before marking MRI Status as Completed.

If Christine still sees the error, have her hard refresh the Matter page and confirm the MRI Request lookup appears under MRI Result. If it still does not, inspect whether the specific edit path is a custom quick action or modal not using Take Action Release Layout.
