Session Overview

Goal: answer what Litify shows for April 2026 marketing expenses, create an itemized spreadsheet, and check whether the total is consistent with Sam's spend-by-month screenshot.

What Was Accomplished

• Live Litify access was validated through the Salesforce CLI alias LITIFY_ORG.
• Resolved the live object names: itemized ledger is Marketing_Expense__c, monthly chart source is litify_mktgROI__Monthly_Marketing_Spend__c.
• Pulled April 2026 Marketing_Expense__c rows by Expense_Date__c, April 2026 monthly rollup rows, YTD monthly rollup rows from January through May 2026, and a Statement_Month__c cross-check.
• Created the workbook at /Users/samaguiar/Documents/Codex/outputs/litify-april-marketing-expenses-2026-05-25/litify-april-2026-marketing-expenses.xlsx
• Workbook tabs: Summary, April Itemized Ledger, April Monthly Rollup, YTD Month Comparison, QA Notes.

Key Findings

• April Monthly Marketing Spend total: $82,614.06.
• Rounded to nearest thousand: $83,000, consistent with the screenshot's April $83K label.
• April itemized ledger by Expense_Date__c total: $87,614.06.
• Difference: one $5,000 UB Louisville Marketing_Expense__c draft row, ME-00327, has no Monthly_Marketing_Spend__c link and is not included in the chart rollup.
• Statement_Month__c had zero April rows, so Expense_Date__c and the rollup object's start date are the practical reconciliation fields.

QA Performed

• Rendered the workbook Summary tab preview and repaired column widths after the first preview was too wide.
• Ran formula/error scan against the workbook. Result: zero matches for #REF!, #DIV/0!, #VALUE!, #NAME?, or #N/A.
• Retained JSON source exports and workbook builder in /Users/samaguiar/Documents/Codex/outputs/litify-april-marketing-expenses-2026-05-25

What Did Not Work

• The Notion connector failed with a transport deserialize error on fetch and search. The session export was completed through the Notion REST API using the canonical SAIL Knowledge Base database ID.
