For Lindsey, who joined the team in 2022, the shelter is more than just a place to volunteer - it’s her "happy place”, in the company of cats and cat-lovers.

She believes (rightly so) that there is nothing that eases stress better than some cat love, especially from the shy adults. While she enjoys all aspects of her work, her main focus is on customer service. Inspired by the special memory of adopting her own cat, Lindsey loves helping other people create that same life-changing moment and find their perfect match.

As a mentor, Lindsey aims to make everyone feel like a vital part of the AAC community. While she mainly trains new volunteers in customer service, she also likes to show them all the cool opportunities there are here and help them find their niche.

Uber random fact about Lindsey: she’s a big fan of hot sauce. She’ll put it on almost anything.
