Finn Byrne is pale, with freckles all over, and has light blue eyes and dark red hair. When the girls were younger, he would dye his hair dark brown to match them. Died at age 32, killed by death eaters for being loudly pro-muggle and anti-Voldemort. He was a bit of a local celebrity, always fighting for what he believed in and putting on charity shows with his band. Aurélie Laurent has sun-kissed skin and green-blue eyes, with dyed golden blonde hair; her original hair is almost jet black, like that of her daughters. She comes from a long line of death eaters. Aurelie’s father, Lilith’s Grandfather, got kicked of the Flint family for “dishonoring the family name” by being loud and reckless, changing his last name to get away from them. Born to pureblood wizards Finn Byrne and Aurelie Laurent. When Lilith was 10, her father died, and the next year she was shipped off to hogwarts. It was better than staying at home; her home was filled with sadness, and obsession had become completely foreign. After the funeral, Aurelie packed everything up in France and moved to Ireland, in an attempt to show Lilith and Marina more of her father’s heritage, to be closer to that side of the family. They moved again after a few years, this time to Italy, to be closer to Aurelie’s parents and hometown friends. The move to Italy really helped the girls move on from the tragedy. The girls still visited France every summer; they would stay in Paris, then Saint-Tropez, and finally Lilith’s favorite place, Cannes. Her father’s parents were morticians, which, combined with he father’s early passing, led to a fascination with death and everything surrounding it.
