Light Wind

Light Wind is inspired by the subtle movement of trees swaying in a gentle breeze– leaves rustling; branches wavering in simple harmonic motions. The work hence aims to recreate the delight and wonder nature brings to the world. Joints of the bamboo sticks used are meticulously cut to appear seamless, as motors are coded to oscillate the suspended bamboo, showing how something mechanical can resemble something as organic as nature.
