Important deadlines

• 4 weeks beforehand – application for the licentiate seminar
• 3 weeks beforehand – registration completed in research.chalmers.se
• 3 weeks beforehand – distribution of the thesis and announcement of the seminar

Checklist before the presentation:

• [ ] 5-6 weeks before the presentation: Book a day for printing your final draft. Booking is made by email: chalmersdigitaltryck@chalmers.se
• [ ] The presentation date and time is arranged by the Supervisor. When it will be published, you can make changes for the description in the calendar event.
• [ ] Printing the draft should be booked at least 3 weeks before your presentation or in extreme cases 2 weeks before.
• [ ] After printing the first draft, it is recommended to send it via post to the opponent.
• [ ] Before completing your final thesis version, you need to request a Report number for the licentiate thesis by the Study Administration of M2 --email: studentadm.m2@chalmers.se
• [ ] Ask your department if you need to send to your Administrative Coordinator a copy of your final thesis (pdf + printed copy).
• [ ] If the event will be held in hybrid format, make sure that a zoom link is available and shared properly with your colleagues in the calendar invitations of the Licentiate presentation.

Salary raise after the licentiate

Your salary increase will take action on the calendar month just after the calendar month your licentiate got registered on Ladok (and all the courses you needed to pass for it). For example, if you see it on Ladok the 8th of April, your new salary will apply from the 1st May.
