- Naming convention: although atomic design was useful creating the structure of patterns, I didn't find it useful for the naming convention although Jack insisted on it. Elements, Modules, Components. Because the designer would need to think about the complexity of an item they were looking for, in order to find it. What I think made more sense would be to organise items by what they were, like the material design documentation. Eg. "Buttons, text fields, tab bars, etc"
- One concern i had was how to distinguish native elements from custom ones, so that going forward you'd know what elements to check in their platform documentation as new versions get released. I created a separate folder for custom items, but perhaps they would be better placed in the same section as similar things, but "native" would be in there name.
- eg. Buttons > Fill > primary - custom
