The fundamental skills of reading, writing, and mathematics are so important that colleges require you pass courses that show you have learned these skills in order to graduate. While the assignments you turn in to your faculty may now be digital, you may find that much of your day-to-day work requires the tools that you may be already using: paper, pens and pencils.
