Based on your Values, Determine your Morals, and Consider the Ethics

Our outer world shapes our subconscious beliefs. While this may be beneficial in some ways, allowing your mind to be stagnant and without critical thought will likely be to your detriment. It’s important to assess and reassess the information and ideas you’ve learned from family, friends, school, or while doom-scrolling online. Much of what we see online is meant to evoke a strong emotional reaction, for better or for worse. While we can’t always censor what we see, we can control how we act.

By deeply understanding our own values, morals, and considering the ethics, we’ll be able to better navigate day-to-day behavior in a way that ultimately serves our mental and emotional well-being.
