Conditions I love to work in:
- It depends on what I have to do:
- If my work involves creative thinking, process building, sourcing candidates... I love to do it from my flat, changing positions & locations across the day (from the kitchen to the bedroom through the balcony)
- The rest of the time, I love to be in a vibrant environment and that refill my creativity for the above phase.
- I don’t like it when the sun comes right at me AND when the room is too hot. I’d rather work outside / have fresh air on my face. 🌪️
- I like to stick to my schedule, but I’ll also allocate time with nothing planned to create random encounters / foster my creativity.
- If I have my headset on, it means I’m focusing on something, and I’d rather not be disturbed. If not, go for it, Happy to have a chat 😊
Time/hours I like to work:
- My agenda is completely open and ready for you to book me in except the morning (I only have meetings in the morning in case of emergencies, as I use them for deep work)
- I usually start working early, at 8:30 or 9 when I’m home, a bit later at the office (30min to commute to the Paris one)
- I work on creative, productive stuff in the morning and I mostly have meetings/interviews the afternoon => I prefer to be contacted in the afternoon.
- My lunch break is sacred. I always have a 1-hour slot at least to cut the day in half. 🍕
- I usually run twice per week, and I’ll book it on my agenda.
- My agenda is running my life, so an empty slot is an empty slot and a busy one... a busy one. You can book any empty one in the afternoon 😎
The best way to communicate with me:
- I prefer slack and If I'm available, I’d answer quite fast. If I muted my notification, I won’t be hanging around on slack so if you have an emergency, I’ll answer my phone then.
- I’m a fan of inbox zero so I’ll answer you for sure before the end of the day except if it’s not urgent at all.
- I’d prefer slack for simple things and email for more complex ones. 📧
