Lens Lingo AI ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your rights as a user.
When you capture a situation, your photo is processed to generate Japanese phrases, vocabulary, and etiquette tips. Photos are stored locally on your device only and are never uploaded to our servers or retained by us.
When using online mode, your photo is sent to Google Gemini (our AI provider) solely to generate language content. Google does not retain your photos after processing. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
When offline mode is active, all photo processing happens entirely on your device using a local AI model. No data leaves your device.
All situations, phrases, vocabulary, and etiquette tips you generate are saved locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is never transmitted to us or any third party.
Subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not collect, store, or process any payment or billing information. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details.
Superwall, our paywall management provider, may collect anonymised analytics about paywall interactions (e.g. impressions and conversions) to help us improve the app experience. See Superwall's Privacy Policy for details.
We do not collect personal analytics or crash reports beyond what Apple provides through App Store Connect aggregated metrics.
