Why Are we registered?
A legal entity provides a DAO with default statutory provisions, the ability to operate more easily in the off-chain world, and a jurisdiction in which it can pay taxes. Equally important, a legal entity protects DAO members from joint and several liability, which is common law in most U.S. jurisdictions where a DAO’s default legal status is as a general partnership.
