Pre lecture notes:

I have a sense that the key take aways from this lecture will be that regulation needs to be adaptive because of the social impacts of rapidly developing technologies. How you measure and regulate today, will need to be different to how you measure and regulate tomorrow. Instead of overhauling the mechanisms, learning and adapting is the best course. Not replacing.

This will be interesting to consider when we speak about measuring the success of a regulation and the qualitative factors involved.
