Number of leaves

‌At CAW Studios, we do not have a set number of leaves to take or not take. We believe that a person takes leaves when needed. Therefore, as you can see, we do not have a standard leave policy. Apart from holidays (listed below), you are entitled to leave; just let us know a few days ahead so that you are undisturbed, and we can cover for you while you are away and enjoying your well-deserved time out from the usual office routine.

Approval for Leaves

While there is a flexible leave policy, it is mandatory to approve it. You need to inform and get approval for your upcoming OOOs. Two key people must first be asked to approve your leave -

Write an email with the subject line “Request for OOO” and send it to both of them, keeping “[email protected]” in cc (mandatory).

Note: You will need to get approval from both in the email.

<aside> 🙏 Emergency OOO: We recognize that emergencies can happen. If one does, please inform everyone as soon as possible. Once you return, send an email explaining your absence to all relevant parties, making sure to cc [email protected] within 2 working days of your return.

Letting everyone know

<aside> 🚧 You are responsible to inform your team about your upcoming vacations well in advance.

In almost all projects, you have a slack channel where all your project team members are present. Drop a message as soon as your leave is approved.

Being responsible

As CAW, we work on the principals of trust and faith in you. Not having a leave policy is one of the many ways we can show our trust in you. We trust that a person will take leave as required by them, responsibly and in a manner that does not exploit the non-existent policy.

We would like to list out some behaviours that we certainly do not tolerate as they hamper our ability to continue to follow this practice. They are -
