As you consider what tasks you need to do, you'll come across some tasks that can be completed in a very short time: moving the laundry hamper; texting a friend; looking up the address of the party you're going to later.
The Two Minute Rule covers these simple, short tasks.
- If you can do a task in less than two minutes, do it right now.
- If it will take you longer than two minutes, capture it to your task manager app.

- [ ] Take a look at your email Inbox. What replies can you write in less than two minutes?
- [ ] Take a look at your task manager inbox. What tasks can you knock out in less than two minutes?
- [ ] Use an actual two-minute timer to help calibrate what things are really two-minute tasks. It's easy to underestimate how long things really take!
