The Redbelly Community DAO exists to steward the growth, adoption, and decentralisation of the Redbelly Community DAO (not Redbelly Network itself). This Constitution defines how the DAO operates, allocates resources, and empowers contributors. While initially top-down for efficiency and integrity, the DAO will progressively decentralise as its contributor base and processes mature.
| Phase | Description |
|---|---|
| Phase 0 | High Council (community members assisting marketing team) manage setup, tooling, and early disbursements via multisig |
| Phase 1 | Delegated Governance: Pod Leads and Genesis Leaders propose and approve items with tokenholder input |
| Phase 2 | Full DAO Governance: All tokenholders may submit and vote on proposals through decentralised tools |
Each phase will have target timelines, reviewed quarterly and published publicly by the High Council. If dependencies outside the DAO’s control delay progress, revised timelines will be shared to prevent indefinite stalling.
