I’m a young researcher passionate about the world of robotics. With a Master’s from IIT Gandhinagar and the privilege of research experiences at Tohoku University in Japan and TU Dresden in Germany, I’ve had the chance to work across cultures, ideas, and engineering mindsets. It’s been quite a journey—both academically and personally.
My research curiosity is driven by the evolving role of learning algorithms in robotics. If you’re into grasping, soft object manipulation, deformation control, slip detection, or the beautiful chaos of hardware-meets-simulation, we’ll have some good conversations ahead.
This page is a glimpse into that curiosity. Thanks for stopping by. Bis bald — see you soon

My passion for robotics runs deep. I'm particularly fascinated by tactile sensing, dexterous manipulation, and the challenge of achieving human-like grasping in robots. I love diving into discussions about Meta's research, innovative efforts like Sparsh, and the evolving landscape of soft robotics.
While I focus mostly on manipulation and tactile intelligence, I'm always curious to learn more—especially about areas I haven’t explored deeply yet, like mobile and aerial robotics. So if you're working in those domains, I’d love to hear your perspective and trade insights!

I wouldn’t call myself a gym enthusiast, but I enjoy exploring new sports and staying active in my own way. I've played most team sports at some point—though I’ll admit, golf and polo are still on my "yet to try" list.
While I’m comfortable around water, swimming still challenges me—but that hasn't stopped me from trying. And when it comes to quiet strategy over adrenaline, my chess game holds its own—nothing grandmaster-level, but enough to make things interesting!

My journey with international travel only began recently, but it’s already been incredibly enriching. Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to visit Japan, Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic—mostly for research and academic work, but always paired with cultural exploration, city strolls, and, of course, local food adventures.
Ironically, while my work took me abroad, my travel within India has been purely for leisure. From the hills to the coast, I’ve explored many corners of the country—never for research, but always with curiosity.
If you ever need tips on budget stays or stretching a travel grant, I just might be your go-to person!
