General Overview and Expectations:

Our team is a group of over a dozen amazing individuals who make everything Knight Hacks does possible. They are the most visible face of the organization. In our selection process for the team, our overall expectations are that the team will work to build community within the organization as a whole, will be active in all parts of the organization, including club events, programs, socials, and the hackathon, and will be active members who engage with others in the organization.

Open Positions:

Design Director

Do you have a keen eye for aesthetics? Are you experienced in graphic design? As the Design Director, you will be responsible for the look and feel of the event and club. Your team will work with the marketing team and development team to create the graphics assets which will bring life to Knight Hacks’s promotions, app, website, shirts, and posters. Your designs will be everywhere during the hackathon and on social media, and you will have a direct impact on how attendees feel during the event. Experience in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Lead a group of students
Create reusable design assets
Create graphics for the development and communications teams
Manage the design language and branding for the entire organization

Workshops Director

The Workshops Director will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating our weekly workshops, which includes finding students who can host various workshops, reaching out to companies to come out to our meetings to host workshops (and the opportunity to network with students) and overall being a resource to anyone who is hosting a Knight Hacks workshop.
