Overview Klarr is a personal finance app that helps you track your accounts, transactions, and budgets. We believe your financial data belongs to you, and this policy explains exactly how Klarr handles it.

What We Collect When you create an account, we collect your name and email address to authenticate you. We do not ask for, collect, or track any other personal information. Your transactions, accounts, categories, rules, and budgets are entered by you and belong to you.

Where Your Data Lives Authentication data (email, password hash, profile name) is stored in Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore, operated by Google. Your financial data is stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData. While signed in, a backup syncs to your private Firebase account so you can restore it on a new device.

How It's Protected All network communication uses TLS encryption. Data on your device is protected by iOS file-level encryption tied to your device passcode or biometrics. Your cloud backup is tied to your account only.

What We Don't Do We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use third-party analytics that identify you personally.

Your Rights You can export all your data as CSV or PDF from Settings - Export. Sign out to end your session. Delete the app to remove all on-device data. To delete your account and cloud backup, contact support.

Third-Party Services Klarr uses Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore (Google LLC) for sign-in and cloud backup. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
