Kivilcim Ozturk is a Ph.D. candidate in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology at the University of California San Diego. She received her B.S. in Biological Sciences and Bioengineering and her M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from Sabanci University, Istanbul, Turkey. Kivilcim’s research focuses on the analysis and interpretation of genetic variants and development of computational systems biology approaches in cancer genomics with incorporation of network biology methods.
