7shifts Scheduling
- Use 7shifts for all shift trades, availability changes, and time‑off requests.
- Trades are not guaranteed. Approval depends on role coverage and training.
- You may only trade with someone trained for the required position.
- All trades must be approved by a manager in 7shifts before they are valid.
Time Clock
- Clock in to the exact position listed on your schedule.
- Example: if your schedule says "AM Line Cook," select that when clocking in.
Scheduling Definitions
CL = Close
- The last person to leave the building.
- Confirms all stations and the dish line are fully closed.
- Verifies other cooks’ work is complete.
- Conducts final checkouts with all staff before departure.
BD = Business Decline
- Remains until the end of the scheduled shift or close if work remains.
- Shares closing responsibilities with the team.
- Must check out with the closer (CL) before leaving.
Role Expectations
AM Line Cook
- Open assigned stations and set up tools for service.
- Complete setup before doors open.
- Prep and restock the line for lunch service.
