Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Ensure all food storage areas are clean, organized, and stocked properly.
- Follow food hygiene and safety standards to keep the kitchen a safe working environment.
- Dispose of waste properly and help with stock rotation to minimize food waste.
- Support the team during busy service periods by helping with plating, food prep, and general kitchen tasks.
- Assist with deliveries, checking and storing ingredients correctly.
Experience / Requirements
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene (training provided if necessary).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Availability to work Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
