It is kind of logical to start players journey in a company of kids of different age. So that the player can participate in activities for kids designed to teach them bending energy techniques.

Kids have lots of energy and live mostly in here and now. Which means there is not too much logic in modeling their behavior. They are quite spontaneous and like to explore and test the boundaries.

So that we can skip more complex modeling of the mental space and focus on here and now and base energy bending techniques.

That doesn’t mean there are no stories or dreams. But they are mostly hints on what’s coming in the next levels.

Kids play basic games.

That is more then enough for a series of levels!!

But the problem is that i don't want to do game which is mostly for small kids, but have it for every age. That means that i won't force players do all the activities, but rather just let him to participate in them as much time as he wants, being driven by their curiosity.

What i want him to see that there are classes where creatures learn every energy bending technique. And he can participate in every of them. Or come here later to catch up with parts he missed.
