Design Director / Design Researcher

I am a design director who has lead various design projects while managing a multi-disciplinary talented design team. Recently, I am working closely with clients such as the automotive, consumer electronics and healthcare industry. Besides working as a design professional, I am currently pursuing a Ph.D study in the Graduate School of Information Studies at The University of Tokyo. My research interest is in the crossing area of design research, human-computer interaction and architecture.

I received my M. Arch from SCI_Arc [Southern California Institute of Architecture], B.A in linguistics from TUFS [Tokyo University of Foreign Studies]

I lead a team of 18 members composed of designers, strategists, and design engineers as a director and communicate with board members to develop a corporate mid-term management plan.

Key Responsibilities

1. Establish the key policy, manage team branding and holing marketing events to communicate our services to potential clients.
2. Create departmental objectives with annual budget controlling with Profit and Loss Statement.
3. Compile monthly report as well as revenue forecasts for the Board.
