The built-in KYC plugin allows users to upload documents and input identity information. It can collect user information that includes user ID photos, documents for proofing residence, and even selfies. The plugin automatically uploads collected photo data to the user-defined AWS S3 bucket, streamlining the process and ensuring the security of the data.
This can be found from the exchange app store and simply click the green ‘install’ button to install and enable the plugin on your exchange.
You can provide your AWS S3 bucket name, region, and IAM credentials in this section. For guidance on creating an IAM policy on AWS, please refer to our documentation.
Once the plugin is all set, the ‘Identity’ tab will appear in the verification page allowing users to submit their identity information and upload documents.
Additionally, the ‘manually upgrade’ feature allows you to update the plugin to a newer version by uploading a .json file. This will preserve the current plugin's configuration values, ensuring that your settings are not lost during the upgrade process.
