Overview
There have been several serious pivots in the history of the company. We were looking for a product-market fit, experimenting with various product offerings.
- Observing the success of Cash App and Venmo in the United States, we launched our P2P (peer-to-peer) pan-European product.
- In parallel, we made a product for micro-entrepreneurs - Get paid, which allows entrepreneurs to accept instant payments by card or Apple/Google Pay from any person.
Now we are once again focused on a simple banking application. The main product is a plastic debit card. We are also working on integration into the Joom Marketplace ecosystem.
My role
As a solo designer I've been working on a wide range of tasks:
- Conducted user interviews based on the framework “Building Product Conviction” by Reforge.
- Created a Customer Journey Map based on our numerous user interviews, feedback from support, and app store reviews.
- Prototyped, tested, and iterated users' main banking flows: onboarding, KYC, topup, bank transfer, splitting a bill, referring a friend, issuing a card, ordering a plastic card delivery, and many others.
- Owned a process of brand development and covered most of our communication design tasks.
- Continuously researched all the best practices in the market, collected a wide range of the best design patterns to speed up my work.
- Built from the ground up a solid Ui Kit and maintained it in order.
- Collaborated on a daily basis with products, researchers, analysts, and devs to deliver well-designed features to our users.
