What is Jobloom?

Jobloom is a tool to help students build tailored demos which they can showcase to companies through quick video recordings when applying to roles. Currently the job market is rough and thought this tool could help students land more interviews.

How do I use Jobloom?

Jobloom follows a three stage workflow:

Initial idea/Job Description → Structured Proposal Document → AI Agent Demo

So here is how to go through the steps…

  1. Paste your job description or the entire URL into the paste section and hit built.
    1. Optionally here, if you have a specific ai agent workflow you want to build, just put the requirements inside of the input section as well. “Build me….”
  2. After the proposal has been generated you can refine it via the chat pane on the left hand side, or you can use the “copy for chatgpt” button in the top right and go refine it with your favorite chat application. Once that’s good, hit build AI agent now and your on your way to a final product!
  3. Now that your Agent demo has been built it’s time to record! I start by first looking at the examples in the right hand corner and opening up that panel.
  4. Once you’ve gotten the demo you want to go through go ahead and get out your ideal screen record. For me that is just using the record feature in slack, however, I’ve seen people use Loom, a Zoom meeting and QuickTimePlayer.
  5. Now it’s time to record your demo and show off what you’ve built.
  6. The final piece is outreach so we recommend sending the same message to all connections you send, other then those who you believe you have a special connection with. This can include school alumni, ex same company, etc.

  1. Start recording and instantly fire off your example message. Then proceed with the script below…
  2. Hey [INSERT COMPANY NAME] team, I’m interested in [INSERT POSITION] and wanted to reach out and show you something I built. After doing more research on [INSERT COMPANY NAME] and the role, I thought that building an AI agent for [INSERT USE CASE] could help the team.
  3. The example I’ve given the agent for this demo is [EXPLAIN THE CONTEXT OF THE USE CASE]
  4. This agent is built similar to AI coding tools like Claude Code and Codex as it uses tools like grep to search through the mock database for this demo.
