Joblens (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a Chrome browser extension that helps you analyze job postings and generate personalized interview prep, fit scores, and outreach drafts. This policy explains what information the extension handles, how we use it, and what choices you have.
When you choose to scan a job posting on a supported careers site (such as LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, Indeed, or Notion), Joblens reads job details from the page you are viewing and sends them to our backend for AI-powered analysis. Features such as fit scoring, resume suggestions, cold emails, and cover letters are optional and only use your profile when you enable that setting.
Joblens stores the following locally in your browser using Chrome’s storage API:

When you scan a job, upload a resume, or use AI features, Joblens may send the following to our backend API at joblens-production-928c.up.railway.app:
We use this information solely to provide the features you request, such as job analysis, fit scoring, resume improvement suggestions, cold email drafts, and cover letter drafts.
