Summary
We are seeking an exceptional Member of Technical Staff/Client Engineer to join Everyday, a pioneering venture at the forefront of mobile gaming and generative AI. This role is designed for a highly autonomous, execution-focused engineer who wants to build the next generation of AI-integrated mobile games. You will play a key part in shaping gameplay architecture, building scalable systems, and collaborating closely with AI, product, and art teams to deliver groundbreaking player experiences.
Your mission: help us reinvent how mobile games are built, personalized, and operated through Unity, automation, and cutting-edge generative AI integration.
Our Culture
🎯 Product is everything: We win or lose based on what we ship. Users don’t care about intentions , only outcomes.
⚡ We move fast: Speed isn’t a perk, it’s our edge. We ship, learn, and adapt faster than anyone else.
🚀 Everyone is an entrepreneur: You act like an owner. You take initiative. You don’t wait for permission.
🛠 No ego, only execution: We lead by doing. Titles mean nothing , impact means everything.
🔥 High performance is the baseline: We set the bar high and never lower it. This is a place for people who want to grow fast, build big, and win.
Responsibilities
- Own the full gameplay tech stack: Input, controls, state machines, level systems, UI transitions, player progression, and meta loops.
- Design scalable, modular Unity architecture for rapid iteration across prototypes and multiple game titles.
- Build real-time systems optimized for mobile, tight frame budgets, dynamic interactions, and buttery smooth feel.
- Implement remote content delivery pipelines using Addressables, Remote Config, UGS or custom frameworks—zero downtime, infinite flexibility.
- Develop powerful in-editor tools and workflows for designers and artists—think custom level editors, automated validators, live preview systems.
- Integrate AI into production: Procedural level gen, adaptive gameplay, NPC behavior systems, or AI-augmented QA.
- Crush mobile performance constraints: Profile, benchmark, and optimize every frame, call, and draw across devices from low-end Android to flagship iOS.
- Champion engineering best practices: CI pipelines, code reviews, testing, modularization, clean Git workflows, and peer mentorship.
- Prototype like a machine: Test gameplay concepts fast, learn from data and feedback, and scale the winners to millions of players.
- Push technical innovation: Explore and implement new Unity features (e.g., DOTS, Netcode, Shader Graph, Unity Muse) when they give us an edge.
- Work hand-in-hand with product, AI/ML, backend, art, and design to bring bold game concepts to life.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in game development, with a strong focus on Unity and mobile platforms.
- Deep expertise in C#, Unity architecture, asset optimization, and real-time systems.
- Proven experience shipping mobile games at scale in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of AI system integration, procedural content generation, or adaptive gameplay systems.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including AI/ML, UX, product, and live ops.
- Fluency in debugging, performance profiling, memory optimization, and code modularity.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, outcome-driven environment.
Bonus Points
- Experience building or integrating AI-powered development tools or game features.
- Familiarity with Unity DOTS, ECS, or custom rendering pipelines.
- Knowledge of live game operations, feature flagging systems, or real-time analytics integration.
- Contributions to open-source Unity libraries or game dev tools.
